Southside Church

At Southside Church, we are a community of Christ followers who are serious about what being a follower of Jesus should look like in our town.  Our Sunday morning celebrations begin at 11 am, and as you enter through the glass doors at the front of the building, someone should be there to greet you.  Feel free to dress as casually or fancy as you'd like.  Some people will wear shorts, and others will wear suits, but business casual is the norm.  Remember that you're welcome anytime, and we'd love to assist you on your journey with Jesus.

Meet our pastor

Tim is a native of Lawerence County, Kentucky but moved to Nashville, TN to attend Welch College in 2000.  After graduating with a bachelors in Pastoral Ministry, Tim pastored a church is Decatur, AL.  While pastoring there, God began to stir Tim and his wife Amanda to move to Buffalo, NY to plant a church for the hearing and the Deaf, since Tim and Amanda are both fluent in American Sign Language.  After successfully planting the NorthPoint Free Will Baptist Church in Western New York, God moved their family to Paintsville to be our pastor.
